Tapcart currently supports e-commerce merchants who have a live store built with Shopify.

Note: You must have a paid Shopify account in order to test or connect to Tapcart.

Q: Does the app sync with my store?

Yes, your app syncs seamlessly with your Shopify store. Products, collections, inventory, pricing, images, and discounts automatically update in real-time on the app.

Q: How do I sign up?

We offer a free seven-day trial which gives you access to the Tapcart dashboard so you can design and preview your app. At any point during your trial, you can activate your Tapcart subscription to launch your app and share it with the world.

*Note If anytime during the trial you choose a plan and authorize Shopify to charge your card on file you are knowingly opting into our monthly services.

Q: How much is Tapcart?

Tapcart is a monthly subscription. There is no credit card required since you are charged directly through Shopify on your monthly invoice. Pricing varies depending on the plan you subscribe to and can be found on our pricing page.

Please note that Apple requires a $99 annual fee and Google is a $25-lifetime fee to have your app published in the App Store and the Play Store.

Q: How do I launch my app on the Apple App Store?

To launch your iOS app, you will need the following:

  • LLC, S-Corp, or C-Corp for your business or equivalent in your respective country (e.g., LTD in UK or GmbH in Germany)

  • DUNS number: a unique business identifier provided by Dun & Bradstreet

  • Apple Developer Account ($99 annual fee)

Q: How do I launch my app on the Google Play Store?

To launch your Android app, you will need the following:

Q: What if I already have an app?

Not a problem, we may publish over a preexisting iOS app, however, we are unable to do so for an Android app.

We would have to launch a brand new Android app on the Google Play store.

Q: Which payment providers does Tapcart support?

While we support all payment processors from around the world, only three are available within the Tapcart one-step native checkout:

- Shopify Payments

- Stripe

- Authorize.net

All others will be web checkout.

Q: Will my app have the Tapcart logo?

No, Tapcart is a full white-label solution. There will be no Tapcart branding in your app.

Q: How do I integrate my current Shopify Apps into Tapcart?

We offer a robust selection of third-party apps and we're always working towards offering a wider selection of products. Here’s a complete list of our current integrations.

Please note:

  • Only the Tapcart Plus and Enterprise plans include Shopify App integrations.

  • To integrate a Shopify App with Tapcart you must already be subscribed through the third-party app.

Q: What is a push notification?

A push notification is an instant message sent directly to your app user's mobile device. Tapcart offers multiple push notification types including plain text, image, and animated lookbook.

Q: How do I send push notifications?

You will be happy to know that you can send an unlimited amount of push notifications from the Tapcart Dashboard here: https://app.tapcart.com/push

Q: How will shoppers find my app?

Your app will be available on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. There are many effective methods for marketing your app and generating app awareness. Check out our best app promotions guide.

Q: What metrics can I expect from the app?

The native Tapcart Stats Dashboard provides a snapshot to help you understand your app's performance and engagement. Tapcart also integrates with analytics tools such as Firebase, Facebook SDK, and Heap.

Q: Does Tapcart support multi-currencies?

We do not currently support multi-currency, your app will reflect your Shopify store's default currency.

Q: Can I switch plans?

You can switch plans at any time from your Tapcart dashboard under the “Settings” tab. You may do so by clicking the plan of your choice on the "Account & Billing" tab. When upgrading or downgrading your plan via the Tapcart dashboard, you will be eligible for a pro-rated rate from Shopify.

Q: How do I cancel the service?

You can cancel your Tapcart account at any time by visiting https://app.tapcart.com/settings/account and clicking the "Delete My App" button at the bottom. If you have any further questions or concerns, please email help@tapcart.co.
